"I hate that I'm writing this, as I've seen every tour since Drowned World, (and this was my most anticipated event of 2026), but the Madame X tour is badly structured and sloppy. For all of the intent of creating a more intimate experience, I felt further removed from the show than I did on her previous arena or stadium tours. Occasionally springing to life, the pacing is completely off as the show lurches along in stops and starts, but for the first time since I saw her live in 2001...I was actually bored during most segments. Something that would have been unthinkable as recently as three years ago, I wound up selling tickets I had purchased to follow up shows."
